Now Offering Chat Reference Service

The Library is happy to announce that we are now offering chat reference service via a link on our homepage. It will be available during normal reference desk hours.

During the summer, chat will be available:
Monday-Thursday: 9-6
Friday: 9-3
Weekends: Closed

During the school year, chat will be available:
Monday-Thursday: 10-8
Friday: 10-5
Saturday: 12-5
Sunday: 4-8

Do you prefer to use a feed reader to keep up with your web reading?

ProQuest now offers RSS in addition to it’s original Alert option.

Just look for these icons (at the top of your ProQuest search results page) to set up either service:

Looking for a general list of available foreign language materials?

If you are looking for a general list of foreign language materials available through CLICnet, try this tip:

In the keyword search box enter “lang***” with the *** being the appropriate language code from this page. Take a look at the screenshot below for an example using the code “spa” for Spanish language materials.

For a limited number of foreign languages, you can use the dropdown box of choices on the advanced search screen. This method works only in combination with other search terms (i.e. when you are looking for foreign language materials on a specific topic or when you are looking for a specific item).
